There have been plenty of breath-taking races this season at the Madera Speedway and this Saturday promises to have even more when the local classes return to the track two weeks after having some of the tightest main finishes.
Those competitive divisions include the LunkerDaddy Late Models, Hobby Stocks, MSTs, Toyota Sedans and 4-Bangers, along with a newly added 18-second bracket race.
It’s been a toss-up in the Toyota Sedans division that has yet to have a driver win back-to-back mains. In the last 30-lap race, Jarred Tickel won his fourth main of the year after he returned the favor to Madera’s Del McIntosh, who edged him out by the slimmest of margins to win the July 28 race.
