Liberty starts Hall of Fame

After 10 years in existence, Liberty High School will start an Athletic Hall of Fame with an induction ceremony set for May 4.

Liberty’s learning director Frank Panian decided to begin an Athletic Hall of Fame to honor outstanding individuals who either excelled in athletics while attending Liberty or played a vital role in improving the athletic department.

The inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame dinner and dance will be held May 4 from 6-11 p.m. at the D&D Ranch. The cost is $75 per person or $550 for a table of eight. The Hall of Fame will benefit the Foundation for Golden Valley Schools.

“With so many outstanding individuals who have been a part of Liberty over the years, I feel a permanent place in our school is necessary so that they can be recognized for their accomplishments and continue to serve as positive role models for future generations of students,” Panian said...
