When they entered high school four years ago, Randi Wallace and Hannah Shevenell wanted to make history.

The Liberty softball players became the first pair of athletes to sign their National Letters of Intent on the same day from the same sport at Liberty.

Wallace signed her letter to Div. I University of Central Arkansas. Shevenell will make her way to Ohio to play at Div. II Lake Erie College.

“It feels good that all my hard work and dedication has paid off,” Shevenell said. “It’s an amazing opportunity to play softball there.” ...
