The last time the Liberty Hawks football team saw the Fowler Redcats, the Redcats were celebrating a Division V Valley Championship on their home turf.
If head coach Mike Nolte and this year’s Hawks have their way, it will be the Hawks celebrating at home tonight in a rematch with the Redcats.
To put even more emphasis on the game, tonight’s game will be broadcast live on KFRE-59 in Liberty’s first televised football game.
“The kids are more excited that it’s Fowler than anything else,” Nolte said. “I expect it to be a hard-fought football game. They are going to come to play and hopefully we will be ready for what they do.” ...
