Reedley College Tigers baseball pitcher Maxx Clark (Liberty) has appeared in each of Reedley’s past six games. He allowed an unearned run in those six appearances, spanning six innings and picked up two saves in wins over Porterville on Thursday and Saturday.

Since getting more playing time, Doane College shortstop Nathan Achelpohl (Liberty) has made up for lost time. In four games last week, Achelpohl batted .636 (7-for-11) with three doubles, six RBIs and five runs scored.

Lake Erie’s Hannah Shevenell (Liberty) hit her first collegiate home run during an 11-10 loss to Northwood on Sunday. She also drove in her first five runs of her collegiate career with a two-run double in the first inning and a three-run home run during a seven-run sixth inning. Unfortunately, Shevenell lasted just 1 2/3 innings in the circle after allowing seven runs on eight hits with four walks, but didn’t suffer the loss because of her home run.
