For more than 40 minutes, the Madera Coyotes boys soccer team were flying high with a 1-0 lead over the Roosevelt-Fresno Rough Riders.
However, in a span of eight minutes, the Rough Riders scored two goals and an all-important victory over the Rough Riders turned into a loss.
“You can’t blow one goal leads,” head coach Chris Baca said. “You have to put teams away. It’s tough and frustrating. This is the first match we’ve allowed more than one goal in a game.”
