Knights vanquish Stallions in pool

The Bullard-Fresno Knights jumped out to a 5-0 lead against Madera South in boys water polo Wednesday night as the Stallions were defeated 16-7 at the Madera South Aquatic Center.

Led by Jordan Saucedo with eight goals, the Knights used a combination of quick shooting and excellent goalkeeping to fend off the Stallions, who at times were right on Bullard's heels.

“We're definitely improving,” said Stallion head coach Chris Ross. “But I think we need to learn how to put all four quarters together.”

The Stallions were still in the game at the end of the first quarter with a three goal-deficit after scores by Dylan Harder and Roman Gallardo...
