The Liberty Hawks got possession of the ball after an interception by Logan Pierce at the Liberty 32-yard line with a 10-0 lead in the second quarter. After falling two yards short on third down, the Hawks tried a field goal.

Earlier Seth Wedemeyer hit a 28-yard field goal. Less than four minutes later, Wedemeyer nailed a 41-yard field goal as time expired for a 13-0 lead heading into the halftime break

Drive of the game

Five plays into the fourth quarter, the Hawks took possession with a 20-0 lead. Wade Wallace rushed for 10-yards. On third-and-three, Richey hit Travis Jordan for five yards and a first down. Two plays later, Richey hit Wallace for an eight-yard gain.

Wallace bounced off a tackler at the Kerman 40-yard line and raced down the right sideline for a 54-yard touchdown. James Hernandez’s second extra point gave the Hawks a 27-0 lead with 6:45 left in the fourth quarter...
