After Liberty scored a touchdown on its previous drive, the Liberty defense forced a three-and-out led by a Trevor Stephens sack. On third-and-7 from the Chowchilla 32, quarterback Zach Richey launched a ball near the right sideline.
Tight end, sophomore Bevin Brandt, went in the air with a Chowchilla defender on him and came down with the ball for a 22-yard gain and a first down. Liberty’s Wade Wallace scored three plays later for a 13-0 lead and Liberty wouldn’t look back, scoing on four of its next six drives.

Already leading 19-0 in the fourth quarter, the Hawks took over at Chowchilla’s 42-yard line after a turnover on downs. Kendall Malone gained 22 yards to the Chowchilla 29.
After a six-yard gain by Malone, Richey found Brandt again for a key catch. Brandt caught the ball in stride and walked into the end zone for a 26-0 lead. Liberty recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff and scored again with 3:55 in the fourth for the final 33-0 score...
