Heatwave to hit Liberty

The American Basketball Association team, California Heatwave, is under new ownership and will play its home games at Liberty High School.

The opening game of the season is set for Nov. 30 against the Bay Area Matrix at 3 p.m. Fans will be able to meet the players and staff of the team and take photos as well ans enjoy basketball.

The Heatwave, formerly known as the Sacramento Heat Wave, moved from Sacramento by owner Reggie Davis this season and will hold its home games in the Liberty High School gym.

Davis, a former fresno State football player, brought the Heatwave back to the Valley...
