Led by freshman Raina Wristen’s hat trick and a defense that hasn’t allowed a goal in more than 640 game-minutes, the Liberty girls soccer team earned its eighth straight shutout victory and 57th consecutive North Sequoia League victory overall.

The defending NSL champ Hawks (11-8-3) improved to 7-0 in league play with a dominating 6-0 win over Washington Union-Easton (3-11-3, 1-4-2) on Tuesday night at Liberty.

Liberty will shoot for its ninth straight win when the Hawks host Chowchilla today at 5 p.m.

Against the Panthers, the Hawks took a 2-0 halftime lead on two goals by Wristen, who also scored in the second half along with senior forward Juliet Olsen, Olivia Neal and Andrea Miranda...
