Hawks ready for season opener

In their last dress rehearsal before the season opener, the Liberty Hawks showed why they are the top ranked team in Division V.

The Hawks allowed just one touchdown in a three-way scrimmage Friday against Central Valley Christian-Visalia and Dos Palos while the offense added five scores.

“We were all pretty competitive,” Liberty head coach Mike Nolte said. “It was a good scrimmage for all of the teams.”
