The Liberty Hawks football team has been able to keep one tradition alive and hope to start a new one this week.
The Hawks have made a tradition out of practicing on Thanksgiving in preparation for a Friday night football game. They have advanced past Thanksgiving four years in a row and five out of the last six years.
The top-seeded Hawks will try to get a win over No. 4 Lindsay on Friday in the Div. V Central Section semifinal tonight at Liberty with kickoff at 7 p.m.
With the win, the Hawks will advance to their second straight Valley title game and third in the last four years, starting another tradition...
