After suffering its first loss of the season, the Liberty Hawks football team will look to get on the right track tonight on Senior Night at 7 p.m. against the Kerman Lions.

The Hawks had trouble against the big play and tackling Washington Union-Easton’s Javin Harrison, who rushed for a season-high 277 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-25 victory over the Hawks last week.

“It has to go into the rear view mirror right after you look at it,” Nolte said about the loss. “When you start looking at film for the next opponent, we have to look forward. You miss what’s in front of you when you look back.”

Looking back for the Hawks is hard on the eyes. The Panthers scored more points last week than the Hawks have allowed all season. Harrison was close to, if not set, the record for most yards rushing in a game against the Hawks in school history...
