Liberty Hawks baseball team suffered a tough loss Tuesday as the Buhach Colony Thunder took the Hawks to task, scoring four unearned runs on its way to a 7-3 victory at the Central Baseball Classic.
The Hawks (2-3) were unable to mount any offensive attack until late in the game against the Thunder (4-1), who took advantage of four errors that first-year Liberty head coach Terance Frazier said were the product of poor discipline.
“We’re going through a lot of adversities, a lot of changes,” Frazier said. “I thought we came to the ballpark scared … just internal discipline issues that we’re trying to deal with right now.”
Part of that discipline came on a late-game rally with two outs in the seventh inning, which led the Hawks to all three of their scores...
