After the first games of the Clovis Easter Classic, the Madera Coyote softball team is still trying to find its footing after losses to Clovis and Ridgeview-Bakersfield.
Two errors led to the go-ahead runs in a 1-0 loss to former TriRiver Athletic Conference rival Clovis and a 3-1 loss to Division III Valley Champion Ridgeview on Saturday.
“We are getting better,” head coach Judy Shaubach said. “We take three or four steps forward, but then we take a big step back.”
