Coaches and players were glued to their computer screens Saturday, constantly hitting the refresh button to find out the brackets of the Central Section softball and baseball playoffs.
The Liberty softball team earned the highest seed of the Madera schools with a No. 2. The two-time defending Division V champion Hawks will seek their third straight title beginning Friday against Central Valley Christian-Visalia.
Also earning home games were Madera softball, Madera baseball and Liberty baseball. Game time is set by the Central Section at 4:30 p.m.
