After 27 years, 1,294 victories and a Women’s College World Series title at Fresno State, everyone knew filling the shoes of coaching legend MargieWright would not be easy.

Luckily the Bulldogs, 7-6 on the season, found a standout coach, with an exemplary resume to do just that.

Trisha Ford, the Lady ‘Dogs first-year head coach, led Stanford University’s softball program over the past nine years, where she amassed a 385-155 record and reached the NCAA Tournament in all nine seasons.
