With its first game just over two weeks away, the Madera Coyote football team will give fans their first look at the 2012 team today in Memorial Stadium for the annual Blue/White scrimmage.
The Coyotes play Tulare next week in a scrimmage and open the season Aug. 24 at Dinuba.
The Coyotes opened practice July 30, but got into full gear just this week.
“Practices have been going good,” head coach Scott McKinney said. “We got so much done in July. It’s nice to have already evaluated the kids in pads and scrimmages. Our kids are working hard. We’re building more toughness in them. I’m happy where we’re at right now. It’s going to be exciting tonight to see how far we’ve progressed.” ...
