Miguel Martinez wins individual championship
It has been one of the more impressive seasons in recent years for the Coyote wrestling team that is among the top five in the Valley while also holding down a state ranking.
Over the weekend, the Coyotes continued to validate their reputation with a seventh-place finish out of 90 teams at the Tim Brown Invitational in Sacramento.
“This was a good showing for us, especially being without three of our top guys,” said Madera head coach Joe Romine. “We left probably 30 points at home.”
