FRESNO — With the Madera girls soccer team’s season at a crossroads, its offense couldn’t have picked a better time to show up.
The Coyotes, who were coming off a shutout loss to crosstown rival Madera South, trailed 1-0 in their County/Metro Athletic Conference opener Wednesday before scoring three unanswered goals in a 3-1 win at San-Joaquin Memorial-Fresno.
Destenie McMillon, Andrea Hernandez and Jasmine Cardenas each scored for the Coyotes while Kimberly Gaona recorded an assist.
