Just like it did in its last trip to Madera, the Edison-Fresno girls soccer team left Memorial Stadium with a two-goal shutout County/Metro Athletic Conference win.
After handing the Madera South Stallions a 2-0 loss on Friday, the Tigers (7-7-3 overall, 2-1 CMAC) returned to Memorial Stadium and beat the Madera Coyotes (10-6-3, 1-1-1) by the same score on Wednesday to record back-to-back road wins.
“We’ve come out here to this stadium and battled extremely hard the past two games,” Edison head coach Larry Hinz said. “It’s paid off with two wins and that’s great for us.”
