The Madera Coyote boys volleyball team had 12 days without playing a match and came out a little sluggish in a 3-0 victory against Sunnyside-Fresno.
The Coyotes had to come from behind in all three sets to pick up a County/Metro Athletic Conference victory Thursday in Joe Flores Gym.
Despite a sprained ankle, Daniel Barsotti helped lead the offense with 11 kills. Because of the ankle, Barsotti wasn’t able to play in the back row, but Christian Ceja made the transition smooth.
