Despite a slight hiccup, the Madera Coyote girls volleyball team picked up a 3-1 match victory over the Yosemite Badgers ahead of the Madera Classic today.
In the three set wins, Madera outscored Yosemite 75-41, but suffered a 25-23 loss in the second set to send the match to four. The Coyotes didn’t get much rest before their next match. They played in the Madera Classic on Friday and continued play this morning.
“We just relaxed too much in the second set,” head coach Robyn Keune said. “We are still learning to put teams away.”
