The Madera Coyote boys volleyball team opened its 2013 season Tuesday with a three-set victory over the Reedley Pirates.
The Coyotes dispatched the Pirates 25-17, 25-19 and 25-9 in less than an hour for a victory in the season opener in Joe Flores Gym.
“It’s not bad,” head coach Rhonda Jefferson said. “We have some work to do. This is a good first win. We have some players down with injuries.”
