Madera High will face its first conference opponent tonight in the San Joaquin Memorial Panthers, a team that could prove a tough challenge for the Coyotes.
“They’re really athletic,” head coach Scott McKinney said. “Very skilled, big, strong, and fast.”
The Coyotes (3-2) have had extra time to prepare due to a bye week, and McKinney said the extra rest would help against the Panthers (2-3) with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. in Memorial Stadium.
