After a one-sided loss to the Edison-Fresno Tigers, the Madera Coyotes football team is hard at work to take the fight to the Bullard-Fresno Knights tonight at McLane Stadium in Fresno.
It won’t be easy for the Coyotes (3-5, 0-3 CMAC) as the Knights (6-2, 3-0 CMAC), who sit in first place atop the County/Metro Athletic Conference, continue to improve. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
Bullard beat the Sanger Apaches — a team that overcame a two-score deficit to beat the Coyotes 45-37 — 17-7 last week.
“We have had a good week of practice,” Coyote head coach Scott McKinney said. “We obviously want to get back on track this week and progress as a football team.” ...
