Madera Coyote baseball coach Andy Underwood has been through the baseball ranks.

Underwood was a successful high school coach and then transferred his success to Fresno State and pitched in the minor leagues with the San Diego Padres. He has turned his contacts into providing top-notch coaching for up-and-coming baseball players.

He will be joined by seven former or current minor league players, including 2012 Southern League All-Star pitcher Gary Moran of the Mississippi Braves.

The camp is open for anyone between the ages of 7 to 12 and will be Jan. 11 and 12 at Mel Parker Field from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost of the camp is $60. Included in the cost is a T-shirt and lunch for both days if pre-registered before Jan. 6...
