FRESNO — Talk about having a tough conference schedule.
After losing its first four County/Metro Athletic Conference games by an average of 18 points, the Madera boys basketball team had to travel Tuesday to Fresno to face a Bullard team that was hungry for a win after suffering its first conference defeat — a one-point loss at first-place San Joaquin Memorial-Fresno last week.
Taking on the defending CIF Central Section Division I champions, the Coyotes felt the Knights’ wrath in a 78-26 loss at Bullard High.
