After a three-set loss to the Edison-Fresno Tigers on Friday, the Madera Coyote girls volleyball team was looking for a pick-me-up Tuesday night against the Bullard-Fresno Knights in Joe Flores Gym on Senior Night.
The Coyotes got their pick-me-up before the match started when sophomore middle blocker Brielle Hefner would return to the lineup after missing two weeks with a knee injury.
Unfortunately, the Coyotes couldn’t carry that momentum to the court in a 3-1 loss to the Knights.
“Every loss has been like that,” head coach Robyn Keune said. “We’re up and down and then we let it go. Momentum is huge in volleyball and we couldn’t keep it.” ...
