SANGER — The Madera Coyote wrestling team sent 12 of 14 wrestlers to the finals of the County/Metro Athletic Conference tournament and came away with eight league champions to easily win the CMAC team title.
“It’s nice when the kids buy into the program,” head coach Joe Romine said. “They make it wasy on the coaches.”
All 14 wrestlers that Romine took to Saturday’s CMAC tournament will advance the Yosemite Divisionals in Lemoore on Saturday.
“Everybody is going next week,” Romine said. “The kids are excited and enthusiastic. They feel like they can compete.” ...
