Following their 13-1 win over San Joaquin MemorialFresno on Monday, the Madera Coyotes’ bats were still blistering Tuesday as they used a six-run sixth inning to break a 3-3 tie against Edison-Fresno before going on for an 11-3 win.

With the score knotted 3-3 in the bottom of the sixth with Scott Roberts and Lance Carrell aboard, Tyler Bates, who was 2-for-2 on the day, delivered a two-run double.

Anthony Castro picked up the win in relief, striking out the only batter he faced while Juan Aguilar got the save tossing the final two innings and allowing just one hit.

Michael Say also had a multiple-hit game going 2-for-4 and driving in a pair of runs while Joseph Mendrin had two RBIs and Roberts one.
