The Madera Coyote girls basketball seniors made sure they would go out winners on Senior Night against the Sunnyside Wildcats.
Senior Shellie Perkins led the team with 15 points and senior Jenny Gallegos added 13. Erika Rodriguez scored six first quarter points to keep the Coyotes in the game during a 55-46 win.
“I’m really proud of everyone,” Perkins said. “I really wanted to win like this. It’s a good feeling to finish out with a win.”
