After a third place finish in the County/Metro Athletic Conference finals, the Madera Coyote boys swimming team tied for second overall in the CMAC.
Because of a 5-1 record in dual meets, the Coyotes earned a tie for second after the CMAC championships on Saturday at Bullard-Fresno.
The Coyotes had a pair of CMAC champions. The 200 medley relay team of Jordan Montalvo, Ashton Gill, Christian Montalvo and Brandyn Ryan outouched the field with a time of 1:43.98.
Patrick Beveridge became the CMAC champion in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:04.17. He also placed third in the 200 freestyle, third with the 200 freestyle relay team and fourth with the 400 freestyle relay team...
