When the Madera Coyote girls volleyball team’s season ended Nov. 6, senior Miranda Brunner wasn’t sure if she was going to play volleyball again.
“I was devastated that I couldn’t play after season was over,” she said. “I’m just glad to know I’m still going to play volleyball.”
However, Brunner signed a National Letter of Intent to continue playing volleyball at AIB College of Business in Des Moines, Iowa on Thursday to play for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics school out of the Midwest Collegiate Conference.
“My mom and I did a website where we put videos and information on and colleges were able to look at it,” Brunner said. “They looked at it and emailed me. I emailed them back and they were interested in me.”...
