The City of Madera youth basketball leagues concluded their seasons with playoff games held at the John W. Wells Youth Center. Championships were awarded in the 4th- 6th grade and the 7th-8th grade leagues.
Saturday’s playoffs began with the Cali-Kutz Ballers defeating the Cal Bears 44-28 in the first semifinal of the junior age group. In the second game the Lil’ Lakers defeated the Junior P.D. 37-23.
The championship game saw the Ballers pull away in the second half to defeat the Lil’ Lakers 39-32.
