FRESNO — The City pitchers held the County hitless through the first six innings and came away with a comfortable 5-1 victory at the 47th annual City/County Baseball All-Star game at Chukchansi Park.

The County didn’t get its first hit until Sierra-Tollhouse’s Garrett Martin singled up the middle in the top of the seventh.

The City team scored a run off Liberty’s Connor Brogdon in the first and added two more on Madera’s Scott Roberts for the early lead.

Madera had six representatives at the game, led by Brogdon, Adriano Coronado and Derrick Perez, who each started the game...
