Chitwood wins 200-lap Enduro at Speedway

On a soapy water-drenched track, it was Loren Chitwood that was able to overcome obstacles as he won the Enduro race Saturday on Boots and Bikini Night at the Madera Speedway.

Chitwood took the lead over Ron Willis on Lap 43 and was able to maneuver around spinning cars along with a few flying barrels to win the 200-lap main. Robert Reagan came in second while Gene Etherdoge finished third in the wild 18-car race.

Before the track was watered down and doused with soap, Aaron Mullins posted his first win of the season in the 40-lap Lunker-Daddy Late Models race.

Two laps into the race, Mullins passed Emma Tucker and led from that point on while Ray Mayer won the battle with Howard Holden for second place...
