Where there's youth sports, there's Bill Dawson

Whether it’s the Madera Youth Soccer League, Madera Little League or Madera Babe Ruth, if it involves sports and children, Round Table Pizza is probably sponsoring one of the teams.

The man behind the name is owner Bill Dawson, who has been supporting the youth of Madera since coming to the town almost 27 years ago.

“I’ve always had a commitment to the education community as well as the youth activities,” Dawson said. “I’ve decided that I would rather spend my money supporting these organizations than go to a printer and mail out flyers to people. I would rather support these groups directly. It’s a feel good for me.”

Dawson is the founder of the Madera F.A.N. (For high school Athletic Needs) organization, which funnels money to Madera and Madera South high schools. He has also held every office there is for both the Breakfast Lions and Evening Lions. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce board...
