Bracket racing and local classes back at Speedway

After a successful debut, the 18-Second Bracket race will run again Saturday at the Madera Speedway, along with the local classes featuring the LunkerDaddy Late Models, Toyota Sedans, Hobby Stocks, MSTs and 4-Bangers.

As the season winds down, it will be double-thepoints night in each division for the local classes, which will be followed by the second 18-Second Bracket Race.

Fresno’s Kyle Fortney etched his name into the record books as the first driver to win in the bracket race.

Fortney, who normally races in the Toyota Sedans division, won the 30-lap main in a premier race that featured four different types of classes spanning from Sports Mods to 4-Bangers...
