FRESNO— After the City All-Stars drew first blood, the County All-Stars struck for eight runs in the fourth inning for an 11-2 victory in the 31st annual City/County All-Star softball game at Bulldog Diamond.
The victory marked the largest margin of victory for the County since 1995 when the teams were East/West.
Central pitcher Lindsay Clarkson, who threw a perfect game to win the school’s firstever Division I Valley Championship, picked up the win with 4 1/3 innings. She allowed two runs, both unearned Wednesday night.
