Barber ends career as Wildcat POW

In her final softball weekend of her career, former Liberty standout Kayla Barber went 4-for-10 in three games against Cal State East Bay and was named Chico State’s Wildcat of the Week.

After 16 years of playing softball, Barber played her last game Sunday as a senior for the Chico State Wildcats. She started three of the four games against Cal State East Bay and scored two runs and drove in a pair. She finished her career posting a .478 batting average against Cal State East Bay.

James Brager (Madera) recorded his fifth save of the season and 15th of his career to set a new Fresno City College baseball record. He picked up a win and a loss in his last two outings, lasting 3 2/3 innings with five strikeouts.

Fresno City College pitcher Connor Brogdon (Liberty) lowered his ERA 0.30 points over his last two outings. He has pitched 14 innings without a run scored. He allowed seven hits with two wins and 14 strikeouts...
