Resume: Pineda was the heart of the Stallion offense and the glue of the defense in leading the Stallions to a record of 11-2 while capturing the North Yosemite League championship and advancing to the semifinals of the Central Section D-II playoffs.
Pineda became the first running back in school history to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark, gaining 1,006 yards with a 9.1 average per carry and 14 touchdowns.
On defense, Pineda showed a tremendous ability to sniff out the ball, recording a team-high six interceptions while taking two in for touchdowns. Pineda was chosen as the NYL Co-Offensive Player of the Year.
