Aguirre gets back-to-back wins at Madera Speedway

After a week of heavy rain limited practice time for drivers on the newly repaved track, the skies opened up just in time for Hampton Inn Night at the Madera Speedway on Saturday.

There were plenty of close battles and down-to-the-wire finishes in the LunkerDaddy Late Model, Toyota Sedan, Hobby Stock, MST and 4- Banger divisions as no leads or track records were safe for drivers.

Taking advantage of the dry and fast track, four drivers earned their second wins of the young season while two more track qualifying records fell a week after three were broken.

It was Atwater’s Jason Aguirre that picked up right where he left off as he won the LunkerDaddy Late Model’s 40-lap main just as he did in his previous race on April 7...
