Nate Achelpohl (Liberty) had his first three-hit game of the season Monday to help the Doane College baseball team set a school record for runs scored in a game during a 28-6 victory over the University of Winnipeg.

Achelpohl also drove in a career-high four runs in the game.

In his last start for the Fresno City Rams on March 22, Connor Brogdon (Liberty) didn’t get the decision after tossing seven innings and allowing three runs. He struck out five and walked a batter.

Scott Roberts (Madera) has only allowed one earned run in eight outings this season. Used exclusively out of the bullpen, Roberts has allowed just one hit in his last four appearances, spanning four innings...
