Lane closures set for 2 days on SR 99 ramps

Lane and ramp closures will be in effect on State Route 99 in the City of Madera, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

Maintenance crews will be performing tree work in the area.

The closures will occur Saturday and Sunday, from 5:30 a.m. to noon each day:

• The northbound State Route 99 No. 2 lane between Madera Avenue and 4th Street.

• The northbound State Route 99 on-ramp from State Route 145.

Closures may continue for longer periods of time if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.

Caltrans maintenance workers remind you to drive with extra care and allow additional travel time while traveling in work zones. Be alert for work crews and remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
