Christian band to play at Gospel sing

The band Roger Tripp and Christian Country will play Dec. 7 at the 6 p.m. Friday Night Gospel Sing at First Assembly of God, 22244 Avenue 18 1/2.

A love offering will be taken.

Tripp described the band this way:

It includes Bob Wood, of Madera who plays steel guitar and “has been playing with me for two years.” It also includes R.B. Moren of Madera who plays steel guitar and “has been playing with me for two years,” and Willie Tripp of Chowchilla, who is Tripp’s younger brother, plays drums, “and has just started playing for me.”
