Stacy Daly, Co-Owner for The Met Theater said, ““We are thrilled to have the inspiring documentary produced by The Orchard Studio showing in our community. One of the main reasons we wanted to show it was due to the powerful message it portrays and this amazing feat that happen right in our back yard. We heard of the movie during the tragic time of our mountain area going through all of the devastating fires, we wanted to give something back to our community that we love. A powerful message about endurance and strength which is what our town and the people of Oakhurst, Mariposa, Ahwahnee, Coarsegold, Bass Lake and North Fork are! We love Yosemite National Park and because we are it’s gateway we are very proud of it!”.

In January 2015, Caldwell and Jorgeson set out to climb the Dawn Wall which captured international news attention for weeks as the two climbed and lived on the rock face. It took them six years of meticulously planning their route before they took their first step.

When Caldwell was 22, he was taken hostage by rebels in Kyrgyzstan and in that same year, his marriage fell apart. To escape the pain, he focused his efforts to free climb the Dawn Wall.

The movie will leave audiences in awe of the tenacity of two men not to give up on their dream.
