Candlelight parade date and time set

The 25th annual Downtown Madera Candlelight Christmas Parade will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, from 6 to 7 p.m. The parade route will be west on Yosemite Avenue from A Street to E Street.

The detour route for Yosemite will be 4th Street through the downtown area.

The public is encouraged to use an alternate route around the area closure.
