Library, Library Friends to sponsor two free movies

The Madera County Library will play host at two free movie screenings this month in the Blanche Galloway Room at the Madera County Library, 121 N. G St.

The first movie to be shown will be “The Greatest Showman,” for ages 15 and up, on Friday, Sept. 14, starting at 5:30 p.m. and running until about 8 p.m.

The second movie, “Ferdinand,” for those 14 and under, will be on Saturday, Sept. 15. It is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and run through 1:30 p.m.

Popcorn and water will be provided free at both films, with other snacks being available for purchase.

The movies are sponsored by the Madera County Library and Friends of the Madera County Library, with Luis Herrera.

Reservations are suggested, as space in the Galloway Room is limited. To reserve a spot, call 675-7871.
